Secrets Released at Oaklawn Park

Best Kept Secret, owned by Tracy Hersman, of Flying H Stables, LLC, will contend on Saturday in the Honeybee Stakes (G3) at Oaklawn Park.

The filly was bred in Kentucky and by Arkansas Derby (G2) winner Line of David, out of the stakes winning and stakes producing mare, Secretsoftheheart, by Put it Back.

The trainer, Benard Chatters, previously trained the 2011 Kentucky Oaks contender, Holy Heavens and took the Honeybee Stakes / Fantasy Stakes path to secure a starting position in the Churchill Downs gate.

Rain is in the forecast and Best Kept Secret has shown an affinity for the off going. At M/L Odds of 30/1, this filly may be the value play of the day.
